By Train: The Gatimaan Express — India’s Fastest
The Gatimaan Express (12050) is India’s fastest train and the gold standard for Delhi-Agra travel. It runs between Hazrat Nizamuddin (Delhi) and Agra Cantt in just 1 hour 40 minutes — a remarkable feat for a 200km journey. Combine with the remaining 70km from Delhi to Noida and the total is approximately 230km in 3–3.5 hours. The expressway is six lanes, well-maintained, with service plazas at regular intervals.
⚠️ Do not underestimate Delhi exit traffic. Leaving central Delhi after 9am can add 45–60 minutes before you even reach the expressway. Leave by 7:30am for a comfortable drive.
